What’s your opinion of graffiti?

Do you see it as artistic expression or just a bit of an eyesore?

Armed with a new graffiti-busting trailer, Mayfield Business Improvement Association have partnered with local natural history artist Bronwyn Greive to transform a heavily graffiti’d wall in Webb Park.

1233’s Gemma Wolk spoke to BIA’s project coordinator Rita Dixon and artist Bronwyn Greive to find out what prompted the make over.

“This park here is a really important green space for us. It’s really the village green for Mayfield… It needs a facelift!” Bronywn Greive said.

“We really want this to be a community project. We want it to be about the residents and about the businesses and about the community groups here in Mayfield,” Rita Dixon said.
