Ever strolled along a Newcastle beach at sunset and thought to yourself, “This could be a film set”? Well, you’re not the only one.

Film-maker Stuart McBratney has decided to shoot his latest feature locally, and is looking for help.

1233’s Gemma Wolk spoke with Stuart to find out more about the film, his connection to Newcastle and how to get involved.

“In terms of shooting in Australia, I couldn’t think of any other place apart from right here that would give me the same cinematic quality,” he said.

Anyone interested in donating to the film can visit Pozible.com/popupmovie, and those keen to participate in the production should contact Stuart directly through his webpage www.mcbrat.tv.
